“We’re Gonna tell the Bigots to Shut Up” - Sen. Lindsay Graham
6501 Greenway Parkway, Suite 103-640, Scottsdale, AZ 85254 Phone (520) 829-3112
This ALERT is a special message from Minuteman Civil Defense Corps!
ALERT: Congress is ready to GIVE UP on securing our borders against illegal immigration – unless WE do something about it NOW!
Senator Lindsay Graham of South Carolina has said it most bluntly, “We’re gonna tell the BIGOTS to SHUT UP”!
Graham was speaking in front of La Raza, a group that openly collaborates with MEChA, RADICAL- RACIST Chicano extremist political organizations that actively seek the removal of all “white Europeans” from the western U.S.
Sen. Lindsay Graham showed where his true loyalties lie, as he received La Raza’s award for his efforts to pass an amnesty bill on their behalf. Sponsored by Sens. Ted Kennedy and John McCain, this bill is a destruction of American sovereignty and the essential rights and duties of U.S. citizenship.
Now the House of Representatives is considering the "Hope Fund Act of 2007" to give more hard-earned U.S. taxpayer dollars to La Raza and their racist, hate group agenda. H.R. 1999 provides appropriations for “assistance” for the National Council of La Raza and the Raza Development Fund.
Tomorrow, on May 1st, anti-American lawbreakers will take to the streets, again demanding special treatment and threatening sedition and violence in order to get U.S. citizen rights – and if you dare to object to their hate-filled program, YOU will be labeled a racist!
DO NOT BE SILENCED BY SEN. LINDSAY GRAHAM – STAND UP! MAKE YOUR VOICE HEARD!
Send YOUR blast faxes to ALL 535 of these Congressman NOW, Demanding that they secure our borders and say NO to amnesty:

Recently, President Bush stood on the border in Yuma, Arizona, and absurdly declared "mission accomplished" in securing our border against the human tsunami of illegals continuing to pour in to our country day and night – as uncontrolled migrant labor, drug and gun runners, sex-slavers, and potential terrorists.
He then stated his belief that now he will be able to sign a bill of "comprehensive immigration reform" – in other words, AMNESTY – by the end of the year, which would include a so-called "guest-worker" program, along with a path to BUY legalized citizenship for millions of illegal aliens and the 623,292 fugitive illegal aliens in the U.S. who have been LOST by Homeland Security.
Sen. Harry Reid''s office reports they are receiving more phone calls from pro-open border, pro-illegal advocates who support amnesty and citizenship “forgiveness” legislation. They are getting calls from people who do not even speak English very well. Obviously, our opposition is very well mobilized and they know that making these phone calls work, even if those calling are NOT here lawfully, NOT U.S. citizens, not U.S. voters. Reid''s office is nonetheless counting these calls and where they come from.
I recommended that we start making more phone calls into his office as well as all Democrats, expressing our disdain and ABSOLUTE REJECTION of amnesty and special citizenship provisions for illegal aliens, and to emphasize the need for greater border security.
It is time to rally the troops from coast to coast to call Harry Reid''s office and tell him we do not want amnesty for illegal aliens. The feds need to uphold and enforce our immigration laws. Look at history and see that in 1986 amnesty did not work and it will not work now... This country cannot afford feckless and dangerous political pandering at the cost of our national sovereignty and security.
The numbers to call are (202) 224-3542 , or 1-866-220-0044 or 1-866-340-9281
So... Congress is ready NEXT WEEK to debate and pass legislation to fool the American people and supposedly address the causes and consequences of the flood of illegal crossings swamping America''s southern border. BUT... in fact, this plan would change almost nothing on the ground there!
We have held up the "Amnesty-Bill" so far, but only with our continued combined efforts will we be able to hold this line against the special interests, the leftists and the useful idiots who think America can sustain all attacks upon her without losing her liberty! Help us make our government step up to its responsibility to protect our national security, our national sovereignty, and the public safety of all American citizens and legal residents!!!
We MUST demand that Congress secure the border NOW and say NO to any amnesty program for illegal aliens – before it''s too late!
DO NOT BE SILENCED BY GRAHAM – MAKE YOUR VOICE HEARD!
Send YOUR blast faxes to ALL 535 of these Congressman NOW, demanding that they secure our borders and say NO to amnesty:

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
VIRGINIA MINUTEMEN BATTLING ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION STATEWIDE
Minutemen to Meet in Culpeper, Virginia
HERNDON, VA (December 4, 2006)—The Virginia Chapter of the Minuteman Civil Defense Corps (“MCDC”) is holding the first in a series of town hall-style meetings in Culpeper, VA on Thursday, December 7th at 7:00 PM.
The meeting will be held in the VFW Post 2524 at 12210 Sperryville Pike and is open to the public. Picture identification will be required to be shown upon entry.
Media is invited to attend.
Culpeper has a rich Minuteman history going back to the Revolutionary War when in response to the rising threat of a war with Great Britain the largest battalion of Minutemen was formed in Culpeper to take measures for defense of the colony.
This first in a series of meetings throughout Virginia will focus on providing information to citizens and elected officials in the local municipalities on what they can do to alleviate the impact of illegal aliens within their municipality. In January, similar meetings will be held in Leesburg, Manassas, and Woodbridge, with additional meetings being scheduled at this time.
The Minutemen began the nation’s largest neighborhood watch program along both the northern and southern United States borders to bring attention to this nation’s wide-open borders and the alarming national security threat this grave situation poses. MCDC is also building high-tech security fencing along the southern border with Mexico on private land using private donations.
The Virginia Chapter of the Minuteman Civil Defense Corps has focused its highly successful efforts on interior enforcement of the rule of law, photographing day labor sites and informing authorities of day labor centers that facilitate illegal hiring practices using public funding. The Virginia Chapter was founded in Herndon where their efforts helped to unseat the Mayor and all City Council members in last year’s city elections who supported the public funding of these illegal day labor centers.
For anyone wishing to have a meeting scheduled in their town, or for further information, please contact George Taplin at tapling@virginiamm.org

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
STATEMENT ON ELECTION RESULTS
Duplicity, Mixed Messages on Illegal Immigration Sinks GOP
PHOENIX, AZ (November 8, 2006) – Chris Simcox, President of the Minuteman Civil Defense Corps (“MCDC”), released the following statement on the election results:
“What we witnessed yesterday in America’s elections was a populist revolt. With the issues of national security and ethical questions looming over the elections, the GOP leadership gave voters nothing to actually vote for. The crises before us of border security and the illegal immigration invasion could have given a strong GOP agenda a crucial electoral edge, yet the President choose to send a contrary message to voters the week before the elections, stating that he needed a Republican Congress for his amnesty disguised as a guest worker ‘path to citizenship’ to move forward. He completely undermined Republican candidates struggling to place the safety and security of American families first. This is borne out by the fact that Republican candidates overall lost yesterday, but candidates running as conservatives won the day. Further, ballot measures restricting access and benefits for illegal aliens passed overwhelmingly.
“The American people understand that talk of amnesty by some in our government as our wide open borders are compromised by thousands daily is irresponsible and causes a tsunami of illegal entry into this country by those seeking to get in under the wire to take advantage of the offer of amnesty. As these numbers grow in volume and scope, the international criminal cartels gain even more control over our border frontiers, the black market underground swells with document fraud and identity theft, and the drug and contraband turf wars accelerate. More gang violence erupts in our cities by murderous thugs such as MS-13, the ruthless gang of self-professed friends of al Qaeda who, by our own government’s estimation, number in the tens of thousands in cities across America. National security and public safety demand that we make securing our borders combined with serious interior enforcement the first and most urgent priority of Homeland Security. This is not rocket science. It is time for our politicians to hear what the people are saying to them: Secure our borders now—no amnesty.
“The rejection of the mixed messages and playing politics with our national security should serve as a wake-up call to the GOP and to those Democrats who were elected under the conservative banner. The American people are fed up with political games at the expense of their safety, security and sovereignty.”

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
MINUTEMAN BORDER FENCE NEW SITE CONSTRUCTION BEGINS IN ARIZONA
PHOENIX, AZ (October 5, 2006) – Chris Simcox, President of the Minuteman Civil Defense Corps (“MCDC”), released the following statement on the commencement of new sector construction for the Minuteman security fence in Arizona:
“The first shipment of 4” x 4” steel posts has arrived on site and the construction is underway for the Minuteman high-tech border fence on the Hodges ranch along the southern border with Arizona. The land survey has been completed as well as the grading for this border fence sector. The steel fence posts have begun to arrive, and we will start with drilling and setting the posts.
“Around the clock security patrols have commenced at the construction site and our first, full-blown security fencing project on private land using private donations is underway. Thanks to generous corporate and private donors, we have been able to undertake this critical first step in erecting fiber optic mesh, steel-reinforced fencing along the southern border with Mexico. When fully operational, this first stretch of fence will have fiber optic mesh early warning systems, ground sensors and reactionary cameras that will include cutting-edge technology that will allow us to rapidly identify instances and pinpoint locations of illegal entry into this country.
“Our goal has always been to see the rule of law brought back to the border. We have sought to show the government what we think homeland security should look like, and how achievable and cost effective operational control of our border can be. When you have obvious vigilance at the border you vastly decrease the current steady waves of migrant trafficking, drug dealers, possible terrorists, gang members, rapists, thieves, weapons and sex traders, and untold volumes of contraband flooding into our country.
“The Senate has finally voted to ‘approve’ 700 miles of border fencing along our broken 2,000 mile southern border—but they have yet to provide funding to actually build it, and the costs being discussed are astronomically inflated from real-world necessity. As our elected representatives continue to play politics with our national security, the Minutemen will continue on guard at the border and act NOW in BUILDING security fencing and barriers. It is imperative that our government follow through this time on their promise to secure our borders. Their track record on delivering is abysmal, and our United States borders are anything but secure. The Minutemen will remain at our posts until our borders are truly and demonstrably secured.”

SENATE LEADERSHIP FORCES VOTE ON BORDER FENCE
PHOENIX, AZ (September 30, 2006) – Chris Simcox, President of the Minuteman Civil Defense Corps (“MCDC”), released the following statement about the Senate vote on the “Border Security Act”:
“It is gratifying to have the Senate finally vote on legislation to secure our borders. Some wise and experienced Senators have raised important questions as to whether the government intends to actually fund the proposed 700 miles of fencing included in this legislation. Other critical questions revolve around the technology and budgetary standards the government will accept for fence design and construction. We need a fence, not pie in the sky, and smoke and mirrors votes.
“The Minutemen will remain vigilant, active and engaged in our on-going border watch patrols, and in our fence construction – as the political dance in Washington, DC continues. We urge the President to sign this legislation as soon as possible and to actually implement a rigorous and affordable construction schedule to help get our borders under control. The Minutemen will keep a watchful eye to keep the government honest on this promise.
“Our goal has always been to see the rule of law brought back to the border. We have sought to show the government what we think homeland security should look like, and how doable border control can be. When you have obvious vigilance at the border you vastly decrease the current steady waves of migrant trafficking, drug dealers, possible terrorists, gang members, rapists, thieves, weapons and sex traders, and untold contraband into our country. What we have today is a vote and nothing more. It is imperative that our government actually follow through this time on their promise to secure our borders. Their track record on follow through is abysmal.
“The Minuteman Civil Defense Corps stood watch on our frontiers all year and brought national awareness to the crisis of our broken borders. The fact remains that the United States borders are anything but secure. We will remain at our posts until American national security is in deed the priority for the federal government that it has finally become in speech – and that will be when our borders are actually secured.”

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
MULTI-MILLION DOLLAR DONATION OF FIBER OPTIC MESH FOR MINUTEMAN BORDER FENCE
PHOENIX, AZ (August 23, 2006) – Chris Simcox, President of the Minuteman Civil Defense Corps (“MCDC”) today announced the donation by FOMGuard, USA, a Washington-based fiber optic mesh company, of up to $7 million in fencing materials to the Minuteman Border Fence Project. Simcox released the following statement:
“We are very grateful to FOMGuard, USA for their generous donation of materials that will allow the Minuteman Civil Defense Corps to use funds we continue to raise to build fencing with cutting-edge technology along the border with Mexico on private land using these private donations.
“The United States Senate voted against a fence before voting for it, then voted against funding the fence and has yet to pass any meaningful legislation to address securing our out-of-control borders. The Minuteman Civil Defense Corps will continue undistracted from our mission to secure the borders in the interest of national security and public safety. In a time when mothers are forced to drink baby formula before being allowed to board an airplane, terrorists, drug smugglers, human traffickers, rapists and thieves can walk across our unsecured borders unabated.”
Nina May, President of FOMGuard, USA, released the following statement:
“We are proud to be part of the effort to secure America and provide a critical line of defense for our homeland security. FOMGuard is a state-of-the-art fiber optic mesh, perimeter security system that provides pin-point accuracy over miles of secured areas, with zero false alarms. It has been tested at Eglin Air Force Base and far exceeded all the testing parameters.
“Although we recognize the desire for millions of people to live in America and enjoy the freedoms and opportunities we can offer, we also understand that there are those who want to do us harm and have devoted their very existence to this end. We have an obligation, as free people to protect that liberty, secure our borders, and fulfill one of our constitutional mandates to provide for the common defense of our nation. As citizens, as the ‘we’ in ‘We the People,’ there is an understanding that we are all called to do what we can to protect our neighbor, our family and our nation from foreign and domestic terrorism.
“We believe that the addition of FOMGuard to the planned border protection program that the Minuteman Civil Defense Corps and other fellow Americans have designed, will help ensure that peace in our homeland.
“FOMGuard is designed to be used over existing structures, or can be stand-alone. It can be configured in a variety of ways to compliment, enhance or support existing programs with a complete systems integration component, utilizing cameras, face recognition software, laser and vibration sensors. It will help support and protect our hard working border guards who have been assigned an almost impossible task of protecting our open borders from would-be terrorists and illegal invasion.”

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
SENATE FLIP-FLOPS ON FENCE FUNDING
PHOENIX, AZ (August 3, 2006) – Chris Simcox, President of the Minuteman Civil Defense Corps (“MCDC”), released the following statement on the Senate vote to fund some limited U.S./Mexico border fencing and vehicle barriers:
“The United States Senate, in their usual schizophrenic fashion, has passed an amendment today to the Defense Appropriations Bill that would allow for $1.83 billion for 370 miles of fencing and 461 miles of vehicle barriers along the U.S. border with Mexico. The Senate now voted against the fence, then voted for the fence, and then voted against funding the fence, and now for funding the fence. Politics as usual.
“The American people need to pay attention, as the vote is still pending on the larger spending bill and if it passes, it would still have to be reconciled to the House bill. Although some in the House of Representatives and even fewer in the Senate have been consistent in support for the full measure of means to secure our border—including the needed fencing, barriers, technology and boots on the ground—a great many of our politicians continue to play the style-over-substance game to make it appear they are doing something to secure our borders. These politicos are a long way from actually proving to the American people that they want our borders secured, and that they will act with constancy and principle to achieve this U.S. Constitution-dictated obligation of their office.
“The American people still do not trust that our government has the political will to secure our borders. We will keep their feet to the fire, as our voices are obviously being heard now, even in the elitist United States Senate.
“In the meantime, the Minuteman Civil Defense Corps is designing and doing the engineering studies, and actually already building security fences and barriers on private land using private donations. We are also identifying the locations where the fences will do the most good along the entire southern border. If the government ever does finally decide to authorize AND fund AND build these security measures, the Minuteman Civil Defense Corps will already have the design data, plans and the information about where fences will be most effective.”

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
NEW CAMERA TECHNOLOGY WILL BE TESTED ON NEXT PHASE OF BORDER FENCE
Rancher now available for interview
PHOENIX, AZ (July 26, 2006) – Chris Simcox, President of the Minuteman Civil Defense Corps (“MCDC”), released the following statement on plans for the Israeli-style Minuteman Border Fence slated with a summer construction launch:
"Local Arizona ranchers and landowners have received a favorable zoning ruling on July 19, 2006 from the Cochise County planning board that clears the first hurdle for constructing the initial section of Israeli-style security and agricultural fence on the southern border. This decision allows the Minuteman Border Fence to continue moving forward with our construction schedule. The ruling can be appealed within 30 days to the District 2 Board of Adjustments by an ‘aggrieved’ member of the public. Regardless, our fence construction process continues with a planned survey of the property for site layout during the first week of August, 2006—as materials are being priced and ordered for the construction project. 4 x 4" heavy gauge steel tubing has been ordered as posts for the 14 foot high fence, and is at the fabricator.
“As more steel and other materials become available, we will begin clearing the land and constructing the fence—after the appeal period on or about August 20th. In the interim, we will also begin testing at the border the camera surveillance systems that will be included on this security fence, and making the live images available on the Internet. These cameras include new technology like face recognition software. The cameras are being provided by Digilant Systems, an Alabama-based company. This technology has been shown to detect and identify correctly-targeted objects, people versus animals, 10-to-100 times faster than many vision-based motion detectors. We will be thoroughly testing these systems before buying them.”
Richard Hodges, the rancher whose land is located between Naco and Bisbee, Arizona, is slated for the first full-design security and agricultural fencing at the border, is now available for interview and released the following statement:
“As the great-grandson of homesteaders entrusted with a legacy of hard work and the pioneering American spirit, I believe I must take a stand against the unremitting threats to the safety and security of my family and livestock, and the relentless assaults upon local law enforcement and American sovereignty that are coming day and night across our border. I and my family have stepped forward to offer my land for the first full security fencing by the Minuteman Civil Defense Corps.”
“Heavily-armed members of international criminal cartels continuously move drugs across my property. Drug cartels engage in running gun battles with law enforcement across my land and the main roads going to and from the border. Officers from the sheriff’s department, city police, highway patrol and the Border Patrol are outmanned and outgunned—trying fruitlessly to bring some sort of order to a situation that is completely out of control and only being used by cynical politicos.
“American law enforcement officers in this border frontier are forced to take fire, but seldom can they return fire and more often they are forced to retreat as these criminals transport billions of dollars of contraband into the United States. Rape, robbery, assaults and even murder are all part of the violent chaos inflicted upon people attempting to enter this country illegally from Mexico, and upon the American citizens who are in the path of the criminal traffickers. This has got to stop, and when our government refuses to stop it, it is up to a self-governing people to bring this lawlessness to an end.
“My land has a rich history and is representative of an era when stout-hearted Americans crossed the vast frontier on horseback and constructed the railroad to settle this desert wilderness. My great-grandparents, August and Augusta Schlaudt, were some of the courageous homesteaders who in the late 1800''s tamed this harsh but beautiful land. They became patent holders of the land in agreements signed by Presidents Teddy Roosevelt and William McKinley in the early 20th century. In those days it was a two-day ride on horseback just to traverse the 25 miles to Tombstone where August fulfilled the requirements of the land office to register his land patents.
“Honoring the sacrifices and legacy of my great-grandparents and with some risk of repercussion from criminal cartels whose only allegiance is to money, we will work with the Minuteman Corps in an effort to close this corridor to rampant criminal enterprise. The security fencing will be erected as a barrier to help curtail this lawless activity that our government has failed to halt and to help protect the cattle on my property from disease and injury.”
