SANTA MARIA, CA— A Symposium will be held titled "Government Failure - Illegal Immigration – jobs - Does the Rule of Law Matter?" The symposium is being hosted by the Central Coast Chapter of the Minuteman Civil Defense Corps and welcomes several distinguished guest speakers to the Santa Maria Inn on February 19. Speakers who will be offering expertise include Ted Hilton of Taxpayer Revolution, Tony Dolz, MCDC Director of greater Los Angeles chapter, William Gheen of Americans for Legal Immigration PAC, and Chris Simcox, President and National Spokesman for the Minuteman Civil Defense Corps. Invited speakers will address common concerns being voiced by local citizens who believe they''''''''ve been abandoned by their elected officials and want to reach solutions where government has failed. Citizens are increasingly concerned that laws do not apply consistently to all people in the country. Concerns include high traffic accident rates due to unlicensed drivers, impacts of criminal illegal alien prison populations, the threat and cost to law enforcement, local, county, state and federal courts, and the need to increase current support for strong enforcement of legislation aimed at reducing illegal immigration.
