1000’s of MINUTEMEN TO SECURE BORDERS
IN APRIL OPERATION
DETAILS BELOW STATE BY STATE

AMERICANS TO DO THE JOB THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT REFUSES TO DO

Beginning this Saturday, April 1 st, thousands of Minuteman Civil Defense Corps (“MCDC”) volunteers will take to America’s border line to do the job our federal government—and those who advocate for “no nations, no borders”—refuse to do: secure our nation’s frontier against foreign invasion and international terrorism.

MCDC-led civilian border observation operations will be conducted in all four southern Border States—Texas, New Mexico, Arizona and California, as well as several states along our northern frontier.  The operations will be mounted around the clock for the entire month of April.

Minuteman Civil Defense Corps volunteers abide by a strict standard of conduct that includes a ‘no contact’ policy regarding suspected illegal aliens, with an exception to provide emergency water and medical assistance. Volunteers will report to the authorities any illegal activity seen on the border.

The mere presence of the Minutemen has proven to be a powerful deterrent to those who try to illegally enter our country.  Severe disruption of illegal trafficking of persons and contraband across the US border, and the economic dislocation that results for the crime syndicates and alien gangs accustomed to operational control there, has helped fuel an extreme anger the American public has recently seen expressed by illegal alien protesters in massive urban demonstrations.

This will be the third month-long border watch by MCDC, following similar operations last April and October that focused the nation’s attention on the chaotic and violence-ridden state of our wide-open borders—and that prompted the current border security and immigration-enforcement debate in Congress.

In Arizona, the “Secure Our Borders” campaign will commence with a rally in Altar Valley, Arizona at noon, Saturday, April 1 st.

The original border Minuteman, Cesar Chavez, warned us decades ago that lawlessness breeds lawlessness; that allowing illegal immigration would drive down wages and import poverty. His predictions have been proven accurate. The current demonstrations are a not so veiled threat of civil unrest if the government dares act to secure our borders.

Illegal aliens and the advocates of lawlessness are taking to the streets of American cities in mobs, demanding the ‘right’ to cross our borders unchecked and colonize these United States, flying foreign flags, and turning Old Glory upside down. They demand that they be rewarded with ‘guest worker amnesty,’ the blessings of our ordered liberty, and all the economic and social service benefits the American taxpayer can provide.  They decline to commit to the historical goal of becoming truly part of our nation by respecting the rule of law, playing by the rules, meeting the duties and obligations of American citizenship—and loving the home of the free and the brave.  They come to exploit economic opportunities while proudly proclaiming their allegiance to foreign powers.

While the nation watches this spectacle in our streets, the Minutemen will be working night and day on America’s borders to uphold the rule of law in the name of liberty—the price for which is eternal vigilance.

President Bush and Congress have failed America. Their willful refusal to protect this country has wreaked havoc in our border states and throughout our cities and towns, it has reaped contempt for our laws, and it has left our families vulnerable to terrorist infiltration and attack. The border security aspects of the legislation being debated in Congress, even the much derided Sensenbrenner-King bill (HR-4437), will take years to implement. Therefore, it remains up to the sovereign American people to secure our borders until such time as the federal government does its constitutional duty.

Field Registrations will be done on site so FORWARD THIS MESSAGE TO EVERYONE YOU KNOW and encourage them to Register to Volunteer Today!

If you are already registered you can go to any of the following locations for final vetting and training. Temporary field ID’s will be issued. TX Minutemen –

LOCATION:

Texas Operations Base, Vickers' Ranch near Falfurrias, Brooks County, Texas. All operations will be held on the private property of Mike & Linda Vickers and other local ranchers whose properties have been overrun and negatively impacted. The Vickers' "Tack Room" building will serve as the operations base and communication center as used in previous operations.

Driving Directions from the Rio Grande Valley:

At the town of "Pharr" take U.S. Hwy 281 north towards the town of "Edinburg". Continue northbound on Hwy. 281 to the tiny town of "Encino". Around "Encino", you will pass through the Border Patrol checkpoint. Continue northbound on Hwy. 281 for approximately 4 miles until you see the entrance ramp for the state rest area. At this point, slow down and stay in the right lane with your signal on. Turn right onto the first driveway on your right after passing the median crossover. You will know you are at the right spot if the gate has a big "V" (for Vickers) and above it, an "M" (for Mike). It is a large black electric gate and you will need to be let in. Someone should be manning the gate, but if not, call (361) 325-5209.

Driving Directions from Houston to Falfurrias:

Take U.S. Hwy. 59 southwest towards "Richmond"/"Rosenberg". Continue southwest on Hwy. 59 through the city of "Victoria". Continue southwest on Hwy. 59 through the towns of "Goliad" and then "Beeville". Continue southwest on Hwy. 59 to the town of "George West". In the town of "George West", take U.S. Hwy 281 south to the town of "Alice". Continue southbound to the small town of "Premont", just north of "Falfurrias". Continue southbound on Hwy. 281 to Falfurrias and watch for the Wal-Mart on your right. See the directions "from Fal. Wal-Mart to the Ranch", below.

Driving Directions From San Antonio to Falfurrias:

Take I-37 south towards Corpus Christi. U.S. Hwy. 281 will merge with I-37 southeast of "Pleasanton". When Hwy. 281 splits off for the town of "Three Rivers", stay on U.S. Hwy. 281, southbound. Continue on Hwy. 281 through the towns of "George West" and then, "Alice". You will finally reach the small town of "Premont", just north of "Falfurrias". Continue southbound on Hwy. 281 to Falfurrias and watch for the Wal-Mart on your right. See the directions "from Fal. Wal-Mart to the Ranch", below.

From the Falfurrias Wal-Mart to the Ranch:

Continue south on Hwy. 281 (about 8 miles) to the large state rest area. The rest area is in the center median and is hard to miss. As soon as you see the rest area, get in the left lane, put on your left signal (for safety) and do a U-turn at the first crossover immediately south of the rest area. You are now heading northbound back toward Falfurrias, but only for a moment. Stay in the right lane (don't forget to signal!) and stay slow (be careful, don't be rear-ended) and turn into the first driveway on your right. You will know you are at the right spot if the gate has a big "V" (for Vickers) and above it,a "M" (for Mike). It is a large electric gate and you will need to be let in. Someone should be manning the gate, but if not, call (361) 325-5209.
