Mesa Day Labor Protests Through September

Can’t get to the border to stand post with fellow Minutemen? Tired of seeing your neighborhoods riddled with day labor sites? Tired of seeing citizens harassed, public urination, constant trespassing, loitering and panhandling for daily work? Tired of seeing forged documents so that illegal aliens can find work? Tired of seeing the drugs and alcohol abuse that goes along with these sites? Are you tired of local governments refusing to do anything about the destruction in the communities affected by day labor sites? When you saw 100,000 people marching in the streets across the nation, demanding that they have legal immigration status; you were offended that someone actually thinks that becoming an American is as good as walking across the border? Well this mission is for you:

Many of you are aware of the Day Labor Site protests in Mesa that have continued for 4 months during Tuesdays in Mesa. Minuteman PJ Omalley has done a wonderful job in leading the way there in his community. Mesa and the day labor crowd never saw them coming, truck loads of Minutemen lining the streets and waving their flags, snapping pictures of illegal pick-ups.

Now is the time we call for all to join together in Mesa and help the local government do the right thing; clean up their act.

This Operation is complete.  Click Here to see pictures in the Photo Gallery.

Meet at the open parking lot South of the 7-11 on the SE corner of Broadway and Gilbert Rds. This will be the gathering and briefing point. From this location, we will caravan over to the protest site at Mesa Drive and Broadway.
