Meetings & Events Alert:

To:  MCDC Arizona Volunteers

Please mark your calendars for the following events and meetings in the Phoenix area.  We encourage your participation to represent MCDC:

1) *Monday, May 12th – Meeting
2) *Friday – Sunday May 16th – 18th  Border Muster
3) *Sunday, May 25th  Memorial Day Phoenix Symphony (KKNT event)
4) *Monday, May 26th  Memorial Day Observations (various locations)

1) LAW & SOLE Volunteer Meeting May 12th at the Italian American Club!

Sheriff Joe is the main guest speaker!
If you have never heard him speak you are in for a treat!  Please come and meet Sheriff Joe to thank him for all his hard work and support him in his re-election!!

When: Monday, May 12th -The meeting will begin at 7:00pm.  
Where:  The Italian American Club is located at 7509 N. 12th street in Phoenix

Please bring all your petitions for LAW and SOLE as notaries will be available from 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm to notarize petitions.

MCDC is requesting your presence May 16-18, 2008 at the King's Anvil Ranch, Three Points, to stand the lines once again for our 5th 2008 MINUTEMAN MUSTER.
This month's schedule is as follows, and you must sign in one hour prior to shift time unless you need New Volunteer Training:*

Friday May 16th
2:00 pm New Volunteer Training*
5:00 pm to Midnight Shift

Saturday May 17th
2:00 pm New Volunteer Training*
8:00 am to 4:00 pm Shift
5:00 pm to Midnight Shift

Sunday May 18th
No New Volunteer Training
8:00 am to 3:00 pm Shift

* All volunteers attending their first AZ muster must receive New Volunteer  training prior to sitting post on a shift.

If you want to volunteer during this weekend and are NOT registered, please visit our website at www.minutemanhq.com and register.  You must bring your ID card and wear it at all times.

Please have with you a valid AZ State Land Permit, which expires one year from the month of purchase.  Hunting and fishing licenses grant access to state land only when a person is in the actual act of hunting or fishing.  For purchase or renewal of an AZ state land permit, please go to the following link, print the application, and mail it in right away, as it may take 2 weeks to receive.   AZ State Land Permit

3) Memorial Day Phoenix Symphony – Sunday, May 25th – 2PM

Celebrate Memorial Day with the Phoenix Symphony, Sunday, May 25th at 2pm at the Maricopa County Events Center.

It's a stars-and-stripes packed afternoon honoring American patriots in song and word.
