SENATE FLIP-FLOPS ON FENCE FUNDING PHOENIX, AZ (August 3, 2006) - The United States Senate, in their usual schizophrenic fashion, has passed an amendment today to the Defense Appropriations Bill that would allow for $1.83 billion for 370 miles of fencing and 461 miles of vehicle barriers along the U.S. border with Mexico.
